November 25, 2005 – Pillar of Cloud, Pillar of Fire

"And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night. He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people." (Exodus 13:21-22)

The pillar of cloud represents Water, which symbolizes the Word of God.

The pillar of fire symbolizes the Spirit of God – His Power, His Glory, His Hand.

When we abide-IN His Word we abide-IN His protection and under His shelter. And even when we encounter darkness His Light encompasses us in protection. Standing in Right-standing before God we will always, at all Times have the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire inside of us and shielding around us.
